Meet Latrice
Latrice Baker is a social worker and former early childhood teacher. She resides with her husband of over 30 years in the outskirts of Chicago. When Latrice’s daughter was a child, she would take her to their local library almost every weekend. They would spend hours reading and looking for exciting books to check out. Latrice always believed that reading was fun, inspiring, and essential for building language.
Bless That Baby
Bless that Baby is written by Latrice Baker and illustrated by Stanley Mbamafu. This is Latrice’s first children’s book which was inspired by her daughter and first grand child. It is a funny, and cute story about a little girl who sneezes all the time. She’s able to find joy and comfort in the things and people who she love.
Hello, my name is Latrice Baker.
Thank you for taking an interest in my first children’s book, Bless That Baby. A little bit about me and the reason why I wrote this book. My first granddaughter, Joy, was my inspiration for writing this book. I have read many books to Joy but I wanted her to have a book specifically for her. This is a book that all parents of young children can enjoy reading to their little ones. I hope you enjoy reading this book to your children.
